Dear Republican,
The Republican Party needs your help.
We encourage you to become a Republican Precinct Committee Person now.
As previous Republican Statewide Officeholders we know first hand the importance of grassroots involvement.
The Republican Party needs you to get involved now more than ever to continue to expand the Party’s appeal and to help get Republican candidates elected.
Sincerely,
Bob Packwood
U.S. Senator, 1969 - 1995
Vic Atiyeh
Governor, 1979 - 1987
The Precinct Committeeperson (PCP) is the backbone of the Republican Party
The primary duties of a Precinct Committeeperson are:
Work with your Local, State & National
Republican candidates to help them get elected.
Represent the
Republican voters in your neighborhood at County GOP meetings held a
few times a
year.
We
need Mainstreamers to become Precinct Committee People & make their voices
heard
within the Party structure.
If you are interested in becoming a PCP, complete the PCP Appointment Request Form and mail it to your County Republican Party Chair. For a list of County Republican Party Chairs, please visit the Oregon Republican Party website: http://www.orgop.org/About/Default.aspx?SectionId=483
This appointment form is a generic form, which should give your County GOP Chair the basic information they need to process your appointment. However, each County Party may have differing requirements so you may be contacted by them to supply additional information they need to process your appointment.
Once you are appointed you will then begin receiving meeting notices from your County Republican Party. You can attend these meetings and begin fully participating in setting Party policy and direction.
